Carl B. Webb is a Senior Principal at Flexpoint Ford. Prior to joining Flexpoint Ford, Mr. Webb was President, Chief Operating Officer and a Director of Golden State Bancorp from 1994 to 2002 and of California Federal Bank and its predecessors from 1988 to 2002. Mr. Webb was also a Director of Preferred Capital Corp., First Nationwide Mortgage Corporation and Auto One Acceptance Corporation. Prior to Golden State Bancorp, Mr. Webb served as President and Chief Operating Officer of First Gibraltar Bank, FSB from its formation in 1988 until its sale to Bank of America in 1993.

Mr. Webb initially joined the First United Bank Group, Inc. as President of First National Bank Lubbock in 1983. He began his banking career with First National Bank in Dallas. Mr. Webb is currently a Director of Hilltop Holdings, as well as Co-Chairman of Triad Financial Corporation. Mr. Webb received a B.B.A. degree from West Texas A&M University and a Graduate Banking Degree from Southwestern Graduate School of Banking at Southern Methodist University.
